Grants
CATIER lab. wins a $530,000 research grant entitled "Software Simulated Test and Evaluation of Military Missions using Positioning and Routing Algorithms, Phase II" by the Science Research Corporation/Department of Defense on June 1, 2009.
Student Accomplishments
CATIER Lab. student Akyiaa Hosten wins Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) Baltimore Chapter 2009-2010 undergraduate scholarship on June 30, 2009. The scholarship will be presented in a special gala event to be held in Baltimore sometime in July-August.
- CATIER lab. graduate student Francis Udenta wins the Conference on Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) scholarship in the amount of $6,000 on June 25, 2009. The award will be presented in Dallas, TX in July 2009.
- CATIER graduate students Bimal Devkota and Francis Udenta win prestigious Eisenhower Transportation fellowship for the 2009-2010 academic year.
