• Office of Spatial Data Analysis and Applications
The Office for Spatial Data Analysis and Applications (OSDAA), partially funded by NASA, was established in the Spring of 1998. OSDAA conducts research and training in geospatial sciences and technologies including earth sciences using geographical information systems (GIS), remote sensing (RS), and differential global positioning system (DGPS).

• The Engineering Visualization Research Laboratory (EVRL)
The EVRL research facility focuses on engineering visualization, providing realistic three-dimensional views while overhead inertia tracking immerses participants within virtual environments. The addition of the Phantom Haptic device enables participants to engage their sense of touch by creating a force feedback experience between themselves and their virtual environment.
