
The IEEE, a non-profit organization, is the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology. The full name of the IEEE is the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc., although the organization is referred to by the letters I-E-E-E and pronounced "Eye-triple-E".

- about 1,570 chapters that unite local members with similar technical interests.

Get Ready for SAC 2009!
This year's Region 2 Student Activities Conference is being held in Youngstown, OH!
The Student Activities Conference is an event in which student branches from all over IEEE Region 2 meet and engage in activities such as leadership training, student paper competitions, robotics competitions and many other things. It serves as an opportunity for members of the many student branches to meet, interact, exchange ideas, and network. The Youngstown State University's student branch has been selected to host the event for 2009 over the weekend of April 17th - April 19th. Click Here for more info.
