NASA Goddard Space Flight Center
Parallel Computer Systems

The purpose of this report is to provide an on-line documentation of the use
of the fourth generation of NCAR's Community Climate Model (CCM3) for parallel
computer systems.
We give practical information to the users who will be executing CCM3 Model
for the first time on the NASA Center for Computational Sciences (NCCS)
computing facilities at Goddard Space Flight Center.
This report is intended to familiarize potential users with the overall
execution procedures of CCM3, as well as how to access, compile, load, execute
the code and store the model output on a Cray J90, Cray T3D and Cray T3E
systems.
Performance timing for CCM3 runs on NCCS system are also described.
