Performance of ScaLAPACK Routines
on the CRAY T3E

We present the performance of some ScaLAPACK routines on the Cray T3E. More particulary, for different types of linear system of equations of various sizes, we employ ScaLAPACK subroutines to solve those systems and record the elapsed times required to obtain solutions when the number of processors varies. We utilize band matrices as well as dense matrices for the study.
