Programming the AB-SLC 100 from Amatrol
This page will be updated in a short time. However, to facilitate a basic introduction to the system please follow the steps listed below.
To initialize the system:
Turn on the air supply;
Turn on the programmable controller for the Mercury;
Turn on the programmable controller for the CIM system;
Turn on the CIM computer;
Go to the Main Menu of the Amnet software;
To initialize the Communications:
From the Main Menu
Select Communications Control F6
Select Network Control F8
Select Channel 5 - Mercury F5
Select ESC key F4
Select F10 key F4 to return to Main Menu.
You have now set-up the computer/robot interface.
To start program sequence :
From the Main Menu
Select Automated System Programming F5
Select Non-Servo Robot F4
Now you have enter the "Computer Software for the SLC 100 Personal
Computer Interface", press any key to continue.

The Main Menu items of interest to the class consists of the following:
F1 Program Transfer (Save/Read/Print/Clear)
F2 Program Development/Edit
F3 Run/Monitor/Test
F4
F5
F6 Exit to DOS
F7
The Program Transfer Menu items consists of the following:
F1 Read -- allows you to get program from disk/hard drive or SLC
F2 Save -- allows you to load program to disk/hard drive or SLC
F3 Print -- allows you to print program to dot matrix printer
F4 Clear -- allows you to delete a program from disk/hard drive or SLC, current workspace
F5 DO NOT USE
F6 Change Dir -- allows you to load program to disk, default drive is C:\amnet\user0
