Mr. Yaseen Mahmud is the Assistant Director of the Advance Engineering Design Center and Center for Multimedia Instructional Technology and Design. His offices are located in the Robotics lab (Mitchell-Room 223), and Rapid Prototyping, Design, and Testing lab (Schaefer-Room 103). His email is mahmud@eng.morgan.edu, and his phone number is 443-885-3239. Mr Mahmud is an alumni of Morgan's Engineering School. He was among the first group of students who attended Morgan's Electrical Engineering program and graduated in May of 1989. He joined Morgan's IE department in August 1992.

Mr. Mahmud's responsibilities include four major elements related to IEGR courses that involve lab work:

1. To make sure that the systems are in running conditions and fix any technical problems that may arise in the lab.
2. To miantain the Tech-Tips pages on the World-Wide-Web for the class.
3. To provide guidance to student on how to input programs, or run communication software.
4. To make sure that lab usage guidelines, especially as they relate to safety issues, are properly followed by the users.

Aside from the above tasks, Mr. Mahmud often help students in many personal ways. If students have difficulty understanding a topic discussed in the lecture portion of the class, he either provides additional examples for the students or informs the instructor that a subject was not clearly understood by the students and needed to be elaborated further.
