Area Interest: My research interests are in the areas of environmental biotechnology, chemical and biochemical process engineering with emphasis on application of biological systems (enzyme and microbial technology, plants) in solving environmental problems. Environmental monitoring (application of molecular biology) and risk assessment.

Present Research: Application of microwave in environmental remediation. Application of molecular biology in Environmental Monitoring. Application of biological systems in biomediation. Environmental impact assesment of lead in Baltimore Metropollis.

· CIDA-NSERC Visiting Research Scientist (Canada).
· Alexander Von Humboldt-Stiftungvisiting Research Scientist (Germany).

Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy for organic compounds (1)
GC-MS for volatile organic compounds
an atomic absorption spectrophotometer (2)
A cation-Anion column exchanger for ionic chromatography
A reverse osmosis have filtration module.

Hobbies: Lawn tennis, jogging, reading
