Title:
Dr. Carl White, Associate Professor
Education:
BSEE Howard University 1981 Washington DC
MSEE Howard university 1983 Washington DC
Ph.D. Conrnell University 1988 Ithaca,New York
Area
Interest:
His professional and research interests include all aspects
of circuit CAD with emphasis on large-signal modeling, simulation
and optimization, statistical modeling, design, parameter extraction,
sensitivity analysis and optimization of microwave circuits and
high-speed VLSI interconnections.
Courses
Taught: His teaching responsibilities include instruction
in solid state electronics, solid state materials, networks analysis,
introduction to Microwave and antenna theory.
Present
Research:
Neural Network Modeling with ADS: The purpose of the research
is to apply neural network theory to nonlinear device models and
to validate the technique against real devices and using all the
analysis types in ADS. User-Compiled Model Service for ADS: COMSARE
will be used to contract with either Agilent or the customer directly
to develop and code user-defined device models in ADS. devices
and using all the analysis types in ADS.
Future
Research: Implementation of NN training module into IC-CAP
Development of small & large signal NN module for implementation
into IC-CAP Development of structure-independent modeling HBT
modeling Noise modeling and temperature-dependent modeling Interfacing
ADS with commercial EM software
