· B.Sc. Industrial Arts, First Class-First, Dhaka University, 1982.

Present research:
1. Manufacturing Systems and Integration: Interrogation Consistency,
Interoperatability & Interpretability, Lean Manufacturing and Green
Manufacturing.

2. Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing: STEP, Parametric
Standards, Persistent Naming Standards, Interoperability of CAD, History
Data Transfer Standards, Consistent Product Life-Cycle Systems, and
Collaborative Engineering Standards.

3. Production Control and Management: Facility Layout, Automated Guided
Vehicles (AGVs), Material Handling, Supply Chain Management ERP and PDM

4. System Engineering: Open Engineering Systems, Constraint Readability,
Multi-level Constraint Optimization, Sequence and Logistic Optimization.
